You saw him punch me? " Mac asked slowly. "I've been tailing you. Roswell sent me to make sure you got on the plane safely. " Mac brushed his hair vigorously back from his forehead with both hands. " he asked incredulously. She nodded. "Did the guy say anything to you? " Mac shook his head. "Never seen the jerk. I wasn't really listening, to what he was saying. He blabbed about a bunch of things. The guy wouldn't shut up. " she asked again. Mac looked at her. " Mac was far from sober, but he was at least conscious enough to know one thing: whoever the guy was, he'd known way too much about Mac.

Something went wrong and one of the guards opened fire. The other men shouted. The Arabs that are here in the marketplace heard the shots and then the cries of the men, and what should have been a routine search became a riot.
